For those customers seeking to go beyond the traditional trail riding experience, MTR has made itself open to individualized/customized riding experiences. Below are listed a few custom riding experiences that we have designed at the request of other customers.

Picnic Ride

In this customized ride of varying lengths, our Trail Blazers will lead you through the Kendall County Forest Preserve to a location near the Hollenback Creek. We’ll throw down a blanket under the shade of the trees while the horses remain tied up to graze upon the grass. Our Trail Blazers will then leave you to enjoy the sounds of nature while enjoying a quick snack/meal or a quick drink for a pre-determined period of time. Upon returning we will saddle up and head back to the barn for pictures and to see you off back home.

NOTE: Due to certain health related restrictions, food and beverages must be supplied by the customer. MTR will provide the blankets and necessary trash receptacles.

Ultimate Outdoor Adventure

For the intense outdoor sportsperson, MTR has teamed up with local canoe rental ‘Freeman Sports Inc.’ to create the ultimate outdoor package. We can begin the day with a canoe trip down the Fox River, which can be of varying length depending on your desire. After meandering down the Fox River, MTR will pick you up and take you to our location where we will saddle up and hit the trails for a pre-determined length of time. If desired, you can enjoy horseback riding first and from there hit the water!
